DURHAM, N.C. - The No. 1 Wake Forest men's soccer will face ACC rival No. 8 Duke in Durham on Friday at 7 p.m.
Duke, who currently rests in third place behind the Demon Deacons in ACC standings, recently suffered a double-overtime loss to North Carolina on Thursday, October 11.
Friday's game has particular significance for the Demon Deacons, who dropped two contests to the Blue Devils in 2006. The first, a regular season game that the Blue Devils took with a 4-3 win, and the second at the ACC Championship match, where DU's Mike Grella scored the game-winner six minutes into the first overtime session to give the Blue Devils the conference tournament title.
Duke leads the all-time series 21-10-5 and has defeated the Deacons in the teams' last four meetings.
The game will be available in cyberspace through GameTracker at WakeForestSports.com and live-streamed at ACCSelect.com.
