Justice, Curry Earn ACC Player of the Week Honors

Wake Forest's Steve Justice has been named the ACC's Offensive Lineman of the Week and strongside linebacker Aaron Curry has earned the honor as the league's Defensive Back of the Week.

Justice, a 6-4, 284-pound redshirt senior from Port Orange, FL (New Smyrna Beach HS) is Wake Forest's starting center. He was in on 76 of 77 offensive plays during Wake's 38-18 win over North Carolina State and graded out at 92 percent. Justice successfully completed his assignment on 70 of 76 plays and led the team with 4.5 knockdown blocks while helping pave the way for Wake Forest to rush for 137 yards and pass for 216 against NC State.

Curry, a 6-3, 240-pound redshirt junior strong linebacker from Fayetteville, NC (E.E. Smith), had a team-high eight tackles in Wake Forest's win over NC State. Curry had six solo stops and two assists. He also had an interception which he returned 57 yards for a touchdown. It marked his third touchdown return of an interception this season, tying the NCAA record for interception returns for a touchdown by a linebacker in a season. He ties the record set by Malcolm Postell of Pittsburgh in 2004.
