With the loss...

Wake Forest falls to 5-3 overall.
Head Coach Dino Gaudio falls to 5-3 at Wake Forest and 73-127 in his eighth season overall as a head coach.
The Deacons start the season 5-3 for the second straight year.
Wake drops to 2-4 all-time against Vanderbilt, including an 0-2 mark in Athens.

Wake Forest lost the opening tip for the eighth straight game.
The Deacs have hit at least one three-pointer in 498 straight games (dating back to Feb. 8, 1992, at North Carolina).
Wake trailed at the half for the second consecutive game.
The Deacons ended the first half with an 8-0 run, cutting the deficit to 34-29.
Wake Forest failed on its first eight shot attempts of the second half.
Georgia turned the ball over 26 times, second-most for a Wake Forest opponent this season, but the Deacs were only able to score 15 points total off the miscues.

Sophomore Ishmael Smith

Scored in double figures for the third straight game and the 15th time in his career.
Led Wake in scoring for the first time this season and the fourth time in his career.
Shot the ball a season-high 15 times, coming within one attempt of his career record of 16 (set Feb. 28, 2007, at NC State).
