Wake Forest vs. Boston College
Wake Forest and Boston College square off in a Sunday afternoon matinee at the Joel. The game will be just the second-ever meeting between the two new ACC rivals. The Demon Deacons come in at 9-16 overall and 0-11 in the ACC. Wake is looking to bounce back after a 76-53 setback at Clemson on Thursday. Boston College enters the game 12-13 overall, 2-9 in conference play. The Eagles are coming off a 73-52 loss at Duke on Thursday.
3-Point Attack Against Breast Cancer
Wake Forest is holding its 3-point Attack Against Breast Cancer today. Fans are able to donate money for each three-pointer that the Demon Deacons make against the Eagles. Proceeds will benefits Friends For An Earlier Breast Cancer Test. Friends is focused exclusively on funding research to find a biological earlier detection test for breast cancer. Friends was established 11 years ago to collect, protect and distribute money for this one purpose. The ACC Tournament has been partnered with Friends for eight years and has generated over $60,000 in research dollars toward the discovery of an earlier detection test.

The Demon Deacons are coming off a 76-53 loss at Clemson on Thursday. The Tigers jumped out to a 22-3 lead to start the game. Clemson used a 20-1 run in the game's opening minutes. CU held Wake Forest without a field goal for a stretch of almost eight minutes, building an 18-point margin in the process. The Deacons went just 10-for-38 (26.3 percent) from the floor, including 1-for-11 from three-point range, in the first period. Clemson shot 52.4 percent (22-of-42) to build a 52-23 halftime lead. The Tigers committed just two turnovers in the half, compared to seven by the Deacs. Wake out-scored the Tigers 30-24 in the second half.

Wake Forest will travel to No. 2/2-ranked North Carolina on Thursday, Feb. 22. The in-state rivals will square off at 7 p.m. The Deacs will then wrap up regular season play with Florida State at home on Feb. 25. The game with the Seminoles will be broadcast on ACC Select. ACC Tournament play begins on March 1 at the Greensboro Coliseum.
