Wake Forest Media Relations Adds Staffer

Winston-Salem, NC - The Wake Forest media relations office has added Jennifer Landes to its staff, assistant athletic director Dean Buchan announced on Tuesday. Landes will handle publicity efforts for Wake Forest's women's basketball, field hockey and women's golf programs.
Landes, 24, comes to Wake Forest from Pepperdine University where she was an assistant director of sports information since 2005. Landes coordinated the media relations efforts of the Waves' national championship men's tennis team, nationally-ranked women's soccer and women's tennis teams and women's swimming. In addition, she was the secondary contact for women's basketball. Landes served as the media coordinator for the first and second rounds of the men's and women's NCAA tennis championships in 2006.
Prior to her time in Malibu, Calif., Landes was the media relations intern at the University of Pittsburgh. There, she assisted with a variety of sports and was the co-editor of the cross country and track and field media guide.
Landes, a native of Collegeville, Pa., graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2004 with honors.
