Incoming Freshman Named High School Player of the Year

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -
Wake Forest incoming freshman Corben Bone has been honored by Parade Magazine as the publication's High School Player of the Year. The Plano, Texas, native topped the All-America team that included 37 other honorees.
Bone was also named the 2006 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Player of the Year as well as a 2006 NSCAA High School All-American. The midfielder has previously been or is currently a member of the United States U-16, U-17, U-18 and U-20 teams.
