FOUNTAIN SELECTED FOR U-20 PAN AM GAMES

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil - Rising sophomore Kaley Fountain is one of 18 players selected from a national pool of college and high school athletes to represent the U.S. at the Under-20 Pan American Games from July 6-28 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The Pan Am games are made up of 10 teams divided into two groups that will engage in round-robin play. Four teams will advance to the semi-final games following group matches.
The U.S. squad's first contest will be Thursday, July 12 against Paraguay, followed by Panama on Saturday, July 14.
Fountain, a forward from Austin, Texas, recorded a stellar rookie season, playing in 23 matches and becoming a regular starter by year's end. The Atlantic Coast Conference recognized Fountain's accomplishments with a spot on the All-Freshman team.
