WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest football team will go through its final preseason scrimmage on Saturday, August 25 at Groves Stadium. The team is set to arrive at the stadium about 3:30 with the scrimmage to begin at approximately 4 o'clock.
The Deacons continue to prepare for the 2007 season opener on Sept. 1 at Boston College.
"I want to see us continue to take care of the football," said head coach Jim Grobe. "We didn't turn it over at all the last scrimmage and that was a good sign."
Friday, Wake Forest went through its final two-a-day of the season with practices at 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. The Deacons start their normal game preparation week schedule on Monday, August. 27.
