WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The No. 1 Wake Forest men's soccer team will host Louisville Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. at Spry Stadium.
The game is part of Wake's Soccer Alumni Weekend, in conjunction with WFU's campus wide Homecoming festivities.
The Cardinals are 3-1-0 with a recent 4-1 win over Marshall. On September 6 the Cards defeated Kentucky for the first time since 2001, taking a 4-2 win over the Wildcats.
Senior Marco Terminesi is the current point leader for the Cards, posting two assists and two goals.
The Deacons (4-0-0) will look for their fifth consecutive victory at Saturday's contest. Last Sunday the squad defeated Bradley 3-0, taking the Wake Forest University tournament title. Corben Bone, Sam Cronin, Michael Lahoud and Justin Lichtfuss were named to the All-Tournament team.
Sophomore Cody Arnoux and freshman Corben Bone are the current leading Deacon strikers, with Bone registering four goals through four games and Arnoux posting three since the season opener.
