Wake Forest Associate Head Coach Natasha Adair

On what it will take to get an ACC win...
"I don't think their frustrated. I think what we do everyday they know this is a building block. They know that Carolina came in here and their third in the nation and first in the ACC and we competed. We look at the six games we have left and we know that with this energy and this effort, we'll be fine. We don't think about it so much as a loss but we think about what we learn from it and move on."

Wake Forest Forward Corrine Groves

On the Wake Forest performance...
"We played really well. They are number three in the nation. You can't expect to win them all. We played hard, we played good. I'm proud of everybody's effort."

On if the team can carry-over the positives from the game...
"This is how we can play and we need to do that every game. If we play like we did tonight, we'll win the next five or six we have left."

Wake Forest Guard Alex Tchangoue

On conference losses becoming frustrating...
"I don't feel frustration at all. I'm not frustrated. I'm happy with our effort. Of course, I wish we would've won but I'm not frustrated because I know we learned something today. We proved to ourselves that we can compete with anybody. We'll be fine."

On Wake's performance...
"We'll go to the postseason if we play like this. This is how we play. We can compete with anybody if we play this way. It seems like when we started the conference games, we didn't show our real faces. Tonight, that was us. Trust me, if we play like this from now on, we're going to win."

North Carolina Head Coach Sylvia Hatchell

Opening statement...
"We have to give Wake Forest a lot of credit for hanging tough and playing us tough. We started off not real good but finally got going. We're glad for the win. Another tough ACC game, we'll start getting ready for Duke."

On if this was a "trap game"...
"We play Duke on Monday night. The last two weeks have been really tough with the UConn game and Maryland. Anytime you play on the road it's tough. Wake's the kind of team that is sort of dangerous because if they get open threes and start making them, they can beat you. They were making some of those in the first half. This is a tough stretch but you can't overlook Wake Forest because anybody on any given night, especially on their homecourt, can beat you."
