Deacons Face Charlotte in First Road Contest of 2008-09

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Wake Forest women's basketball is in the Queen City, preparing to take on UNC Charlotte in the first road match of the 2008-09 slate. The Wednesday game will tip-off at 12 p.m.
Wake Forest (3-0) topped cross-town rival Winston-Salem State 76-38 on Monday evening. Sophomore Brittany Waters added 20 points and 18 rebounds to the Demon Deacon effort.
Charlotte (3-1) had its home opener on November 21, defeating UAB 79-57. Erin Floyd leads the 49ers with 12.3 points per game while Aysha Jones leads on the boards with 12 grabs per game.
The Demon Deacons will return to Joel Coliseum to host Miami (Ohio) on Saturday, November 29 at 12 p.m.
