WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest women's basketball team will play the first of two exhibition games tonight against Lenoir-Rhyne at the Joel Coliseum. On Friday the Demon Deacons will wrap up preseason play with Indiana University (PA) at 7 p.m.

Lenoir-Rhyne is in Division II's South Atlantic Conference. The Bears are returning all five starters from 2007-08, including First Team All-SAC guard Amber Holt, who averaged 14.5 points per game last season. The team is led by head coach Todd Starkey, entering his fourth season at the helm of the program.

Wake Forest returns four of five starters from last year. Player performances in Monday and Friday's exhibition games will be critical in determining the starting lineups for the beginning of the regular season, which are still undecided.

The Demon Deacons will open the regular season at home, hosting UNC Greensboro on Monday, November 17.
