Deacons Host IUP in Final Exhibition Contest

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest women's basketball team will host its final preseason event on Friday, facing Indiana University of Pennsylvania at 7 p.m. The Demon Deacons opened exhibition play on Monday, defeating Lenoir-Rhyne 76-48.
IUP finished first in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) in 2008, recording a 9-3 mark in the conference and 27-5 record overall. The Crimson Hawks are ranked 11th in the USA Today/ESPN Division II preseason poll.
Following Friday's matchup, the Deacons will have a little over one week to prepare for the season opener, set for Monday, November 17 against UNC Greensboro.
