With the win...
- Wake Forest improves to 15-8 overall and 5-5 in the ACC.
- The Deacons match last season's overall and conference win totals with six games still remaining in the regular season.
- Wake posts its first ACC road win since defeating Miami on Jan. 6, 2007, in Coral Gables.
- Head Coach Dino Gaudio moves to 15-8 at Wake Forest and 83-132 in his eighth season overall as a head coach.
- Wake improves to 375-405 all-time in ACC play and 537-682 all-time against current ACC members.
- The Deacons move to 22-15 all-time against Florida State, including a 6-10 mark in Tallahassee.

Miscellaneous
- Wake Forest lost the opening tip for the 20th time this season.
- The Deacs have hit at least one three-pointer in 513 straight games (dating back to Feb. 8, 1992, at North Carolina). Jeff Teague pushed the streak to 513 with his three-pointer at the 18:47 mark of the first half.
- Florida State cut Wake Forest's lead to three, 50-47, at the 9:34 mark of the second half, but the Deacons responded
with a 9-0 run over the next four minutes to reclaim control of the game.
First Half Notes
- Wake Forest made seven of its first eight shots of the game to build a 19-9 lead at the 12:35 mark. The Deacons drilled their first eight three-point attempts, while the Seminoles missed on all 10 attempts from the beyond the arc in the first half.
- The Deacons enjoyed their largest halftime margin since leading BYU by 17, 49-32, on Jan. 8. The 16-point lead against the Seminoles is tied for the Deacs' third-largest halftime margin of the season.
- Wake shot a season-high 59.3 percent (16-27) from the floor in the first half, including an 8-for-9 mark (88.9 percent) from three-point range.
Freshman Gary Clark
- Scored a season-high 13 points.
- Scored in double figures for the first time in his career.
- Tied his season-high with three 3-point field goals.
- Made a season-high five field goals.
Junior Harvey Hale
- Made his 11th start of the season and the 45th start of his career.
Freshman James Johnson
- Came off the bench for the first time in his career, snapping his 23-game starting streak.
- Fouled out with 6:18 remaining in the game.
Sophomore Chas McFarland
- Made his 20th start of the season and his 10th straight start.
- Posted the first double-double of his career.
- Scored a career-high 17 points (previous was 15 at Iowa on Nov. 26).
- Scored in double figures for the sixth time this season and the sixth time in his career.
- Led the team in rebounding for the sixth time this season and the sixth time in his career.
- Pulled down double figure rebounds for the second time this season and the second time in his career.
- Made a career-high seven field goals.
Sophomore Jamie Skeen
- Made his fifth start of the season and the 29th of his career.
Sophomore Ishmael Smith
- Made his 51st straight start, the longest current streak on the team.
- Led the team in assists for the 19th time this season, for the 45th time in his career and for the 11th straight game.
- Dished out six or more assists in a game for the eighth time this season and the 17th time in his career ... Had 8+ assists in a game for the third time this season and the 12th time in his career.
Freshman Jeff Teague
- Made his 15th start of the season and his 14th straight.
- Scored in double figures for the 15th time this season.
- Led the team in scoring for the sixth time this season and the fourth time in the last five games.
- Dished out a season-high six assists.
Sophomore L.D. Williams
- Returned to the Deacon lineup after missing the past four games with a fractured right hand.
- Came off the bench for the first time in his career, snapping his 49-game starting streak.
- Scored in double figures for the 12th time this season and the 25th time in his career.
