CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) - Monica Wright scored 20 points and No. 15 Virginia rebounded from a sluggish start to beat Wake Forest 77-59 on Sunday.

Wright, who also had nine rebounds, scored seven points and senior forward Lyndra Littles added eight of her 19 points for the Cavaliers (14-2, 1-0 ACC) during a 24-0 run in the final minutes of the game.

Camille Collier led the Demon Deacons (12-3, 0-2) with 25 points as she hit five 3-pointers. Collier scored 21 in the opening half as she hit 8 of 12 shots from the field.

Wake Forest, which shot 35.4 percent from the field, took its biggest lead, 36-20, with 5:40 left in the first half.

Virginia cut the deficit to 39-31 at halftime and continued to chip away in the second half but did not regain the lead until freshman guard Ariana Moorer completed a three-point play with 7:13 left.
