Wake Forest Hosts Clemson on Sunday

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest women's basketball team will host Clemson at 3 p.m. on Sunday. Both teams are looking for their second conference win, as the Demon Deacons enter the contest 13-3 for the season and 1-2 in the ACC while the Tigers are 10-7 and 1-3. The game will be broadcast on ACCSelect.com.
On Thursday, Wake Forest snapped a three-game losing streak with a 52-48 win over Boston College at the Joel Coliseum. The Deacons are currently led in scoring and on the boards by senior Alex Tchangoue, who netted her 1,000th career on point during the BC victory.
After kicking off conference season with a 74-68 win at Miami, Clemson has dropped three consecutive ACC matchups. Recently the Tigers fell 65-56 to Maryland in Clemson. The Tigers are led in scoring and rebounding by Lele Hardy, who holds an impressive 17.5 points per game average and 8.8 rebounds per game.
Wake Forest will have over a week's break before hosting NC State on Monday, January 26. The Monday matchup will be televised on FSN.
