
King Fisher Society Student-Athlete of the Week - Ben Wooster

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest senior tight end Ben Wooster has been named the King Fisher Society Student-Athlete of the Week.
The award, sponsored by the King Fisher Society, seeks to honor a student-athlete who has excelled both on and off the field as a Demon Deacon.
Wooster was the Deacons' third-leading receiver in 2008, and he was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District III first team.
Wooster is a health and exercise science major at WFU, and during this past offseason, he formally presented the results of a study that he conducted, titled "Evaluation of Cardiac Structure in Collegiate Football Players."
Wooster is a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, the national leadership honorary and is a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and the Athletic Director's council. He has earned multiple Dean's List honors and was picked for the ACC's Top Six for Service Award.
Wooster is also a member of Mortar Board Honor Society, Alpha Epsilon Delta, the national pre-med honor society, and volunteers at the WFU Baptist Medical Center Emergency Room.
