With the loss
- Wake Forest falls to 4-5 overall and 2-3 in the ACC
- Wake Forest has lost three straight games for the first time since losing the final three games of the 2004 season
- Wake Forest has lost six straight games to Miami including four straight in Winston-Salem

Riley Skinner Continues to Move up Passing Charts
- QB Riley Skinner completed 29 of 43 passes for 349 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.
- Skinner's third completion of the day, to Cameron Ford for 9 yards, pushed Skinner's season passing yardage total over 2,000 yards. He joined Philip Rivers as the only ACC quarterbacks with four 2,000-yard passing seasons. Later in the day, Duke's Thad Lewis also joined that club.
- Skinner moved into second place in ACC history with 824 completions. NC State's Philip Rivers is the conference record-holder with 1,087 completions. During the game, Skinner passed BC's Matt Ryan (807), Clemson's Charlie Whitehurst (817) and Duke's Ben Bennett (820) in completions.
- Skinner broke the school record for pass attempts in a career with 1,231. Brian Kuklick held the previous mark with 1,230.
- Skinner moved into seventh place in ACC history for career passing yards with 8,900. He surpassed BC's Matt Ryan (8,963) who is now eighth.
- Skinner recorded his 21st 200-yard passing game and his fourth 300-yard games.
- Skinner now owns the school record for the most 300-yard passing games in a season with four.
- Wake Forest is now 9-12 in games in which Skinner throws an interception.
- Skinner is 30-16 as Wake's starting quarterback.
- Skinner's 349 passing yards vs. Miami is the most ever by a Deacon QB vs. the Hurricanes.
- Josh Adams moved in front of Brian Piccolo for 12th place in career rushing yards at Wake Forest. Adams now has 1,783 career rushing yards. Piccolo had 1,735.
- Adams also is now fifth in school history for receptions by a running back. He has 72 career receptions including 22 this season.

- QB Ryan McManus had career-highs for rush attempts (3), rush yards (17) and longest rush (16 yards).
- McManus also had career-highs with 9 pass attempts, 5 completions and 42 yards.
- Devon Brown had a career-high 12 receptions.
- Josh Adams had a career-high 71 yards receiving and a career-long 23-yard catch.
- Cameron Ford had a career-high three receptions.
- Mike Rinfrette had a career-high four receptions and a career-long 21-yard catch.

- Wake Forest scored first for just the third time in nine games this year.
- Wake Forest's 20 first half points equaled the number of points the Deacons had scored in the previous 10 quarters.
- Wake Forest's 555 yards of total offense was a season high and the most by the Deacons since collecting 557 yards vs. Duke on Oct. 29, 2005.
- Wake Forest is now 2-3 under Jim Grobe in games in which they gain over 500 yards of total offense.
