Wake Forest junior offensive lineman Russell Nenon has been named the King Fisher Society Student-Athlete of the Week.

The award, sponsored by the King Fisher Society, seeks to honor a student-athlete who has excelled both on and off the field as a Demon Deacon.

Nenon, a fourth-year junior, serves as the Deacons' starting center on the offensive line. Nenon is in his second full season as a starter after seeing time at guard and center in 2008. He was named Wake Forest's Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman last season.

Off the field, the Memphis, Tenn., native is a business major.
