WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest sophomore offensive lineman Michael Hoag has been named the King Fisher Society Student-Athlete of the Week.

The award, sponsored by the King Fisher Society, seeks to honor a student-athlete who has excelled both on and off the field as a Demon Deacon.

Hoag, a third-year sophomores, serves as the Deacons' backup at right guard. Over the past two seasons, Hoag has seen extensive action in relief on the o-line, as well as on special teams.

Off the field, the Knoxville, Tenn., native is a communication major.
