There were four Deacons on the field when the New York Jets hosted Atlanta on Dec. 20. Calvin Pace started at outside linebacker for the Jets while the Falcons started Tyson Clabo at right tackle and Ovie Mughelli at fullback. Joe Zelena handled the long snapping duties for the Falcons. Mughelli caught two passes for seven yards and had an assist on a special teams tackle. Pace had two tackles for the Jets. Atlanta won the game 10-7.

The Jets lead the NFL in total defense this year, allowing just 268.2 yards per game. Pace is tied for 31st in the league with six sacks.

Eric King, Detroit Lions: King was placed on injured reserve on Oct. 12 with a left shoulder injury.

Fred Robbins, Giants: Robbins collected one of the Giants' five sacks against Washington quarterback Jason Campbell on Monday night. He also added a quarterback hurry in New York's 45-12 win over the Redskins.

Kenneth Moore, Panthers. Moore was the intended receiver on one pass but did not have any receptions in Carolina's 26-7 win over Minnesota on Dec. 20.

Aaron Curry, Seattle: Curry was listed as probable with a hip pointer that he suffered last week. He started at outside linebacker and had one tackle in a 24-7 loss to Tampa Bay. Curry is tied for seventh in the NFL among rookies with 61 tackles this season. He is ninth among rookies with two sacks.

Alphonso Smith, Denver: Alphonso had a pass breakup and a special teams tackle in Denver's 20-19 loss to Oakland. On the season, Smith is 54th in the NFL among rookies with 13 tackles.

Jyles Tucker, San Diego: Tucker was placed on injured reserve by the Chargers in November with an ankle injury. His season is over after having made four tackles on the season.

Desmond Clark, Chicago: Clark started at tight end in Chicago's 31-7 loss to Baltimore but did not catch a pass.

Jeremy Thompson, Green Bay: Thompson was listed as out with a neck injury for Green Bay's game at Pittsburgh on Dec. 20. He was not active for the game.

Steve Vallos, Seattle: Vallos saw action at center for the Seahawks in their 24-7 loss to Tampa Bay.

Stanley Arnoux and Chip Vaughn, New Orleans: Both Vaughn and Arnoux are on injured reserve for the 2009 season. Arnoux suffered an Achilles injury in the preseason while Vaughn injured his left knee.
