Deacons Face San Diego State in Surf N Slam Opener

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Wake Forest (8-3) will play its first of two games on Monday at 5 p.m. PT in the Surf N Slam Tournament, facing host school San Diego State (6-4).

Auburn and Valparaiso will follow at 7 p.m. The consolation (5 p.m.) and championship (7 p.m.) games will follow two days later on Wednesday, December 30.

Monday's first-ever meeting between the Demon Deacons and Aztecs will be streamed live on goaztecs.com.

Wake Forest last played on December 19. The Deacs hosted Wofford and topped the Terries with a score of 85-55, their best scoring effort so far this season. The Aztecs last played on December 21, defeating Loyola Marymount 75-54.

Wake Forest will return to Winston-Salem on New Years Eve and prepare to host Richmond on January 4.
