Wake Forest Faces Georgetown on Saturday

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest women's basketball team continues non-conference play this Saturday as it travels to Washington, D.C. to take on the Georgetown Hoyas at 1 p.m.
Wake Forest (6-1) enters the game coming off its first loss of the season, falling 65-50 to Illinois in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Georgetown is 6-2, recently topping LaSalle in Philadelphia. Saturday's game will be just the second home contest for the Hoyas so far this season.
The teams last met in the second round of the 2009 Women's National Invitation Tournament. Georgetown took a 72-61 win in Winston-Salem.
Associate Head Coach Natasha Adair and Assistant Coach Bob Clark both coached at Georgetown from 1998-2004.
Following the Georgetown game Wake Forest will break for exams and return to play North Florida on December 14 at 11:30 a.m.
