WFU Hosts NC Central Tonight at 7 p.m.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest women's basketball team will break from ACC action to host NC Central tonight at 7 p.m. The game will be WFU's last non-conference matchup of the regular season.
Wake Forest enters the contest with a 15-5 record, coming off a 68-60 home win over Georgia Tech on Tuesday, February 3. Senior co-captain Alex Tchangoue leads the Demon Deacons in scoring and rebounding with 14.5 points per game and 6.7 rebounds.
Thursday will be NC Central's second consecutive game against an ACC opponent. On February 1 the Eagles fell 98-45 to North Carolina in Chapel Hill. The game was NC Central's first game without leading scorer and rebounder Jori Nwachukwu, who is out for rest of the season with a torn ACL. Forward Chasidy Williams now leads the team in scoring, with 10.3 points per game and Latoya Bennett has the team-high 6.0 rebounds per game.
Next up for Wake Forest will be the second matchup of the season with Clemson, set to begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday at CU's Littlejohn Coliseum.
