Wake Forest Head Coach Mike Petersen
On the team's last game of the season...
"That's a special group of kids. They love each other, they love their coaches, their coaches love them. The biggest disappointment is that I'm not going to get to coach Corinne Groves and Alex Tchangoue again. They are two of my favorite players that I've ever coached. That's that hardest part of this, knowing that I'm not going to get to go practice ever again without Alex and Corinne out there, two kids that I love to death and have been great competitors and foundational people in this program."

On Georgetown's 12-3 run to start the second half...
"We got out of rhythm but honestly a lot of the shots we took I really liked. We took 21 3s and I liked 16 or 17 of them. 10 of them were in and rattled around and came out. The thing that turned the game was the first three minutes of the second half. They had 34 at halftime and they scored 12 in the first three minutes of the second half. I thought our intensity had been very good the whole first half, but for some reason the first three minutes our energy level defensively just wasn't where it needed to be and they exploited it."

Georgetown Head Coach Terri Williams-Flournoy
On GU's defense...
"You know, that's just something that we've talked a lot about at the end of the Big East tournament. We just wanted to pressure them a little bit more. We had the athletes, and we knew that we just weren't playing tough enough defense, pressure enough, disruptive type defense, and that was a change we wanted to make over the break, and they've done a great job with it."

On guarding Corinne Groves...
"She's a really good player and we knew if we played a little more zone, we'd be able to take her out just a little bit. You're not going to be able to hold her down, but just slow her down just a little bit. As you can see, she still got 15 (points) and 7 (rebounds)."
