WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest athletic department launched a new football gameday website last season and today the 2009 version is now available. The site, www.WakeForestGameday.com, will serve as Demon Deacon fans' official online playbook for the 2009 season.

The website, which received almost 12,000 hits last season, serves as a fan's guide to BB&T Field and the various amenities provided on a Wake Forest football gameday. The site features facility maps, parking information, gameday policies and a host of other items that Deacon fans could find useful when planning their trip to BB&T Field.

"Our fans have always demonstrated nothing but the utmost support for our football team, especially over the past few years as we have enjoyed unprecedented success within our program," said Geoff Lassiter, Wake Forest's Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Special Projects. "This website marks our mission to always make sure we are increasing our level of customer service. It features everything a Demon Deacon Fan should know about a gameday at BB&T Field."

In conjunction with the website, Wake Forest also has a gameday hotline where fans can call with any medical, parking/traffic, security or customer services questions or concerns. The hotline number, which can be used leading up to the game and during the game, is 336-758-GAME (336-758-4263).

"In our effort to achieve a high level of customer service and fan satisfaction, we are trying to provide information and answers in many formats," said Brett Hickman, Wake Forest's Assistant Athletic Director for Event Management and Facilities. "This website is just another avenue to provide our fans and visitors with the information they need to have a great trip to BB&T Field and Winston-Salem.

"With the success of the site last year and the number of hits we had, we chose to continue for a second year. This should continue to be a `one stop shop' for all of the information a Deacon Fan or a visiting fan could need. We hope everyone is able to find accurate and fast information. Fans are also encouraged to use our hotline before and during the game to address any question, problem, or concern they may have."
