WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - WakeForestSports.com will name a King Fisher Student-Athlete of the Week each week throughout the 2009-10 season. The Student-Athlete of the Week will be a Wake Forest student-athlete who has excelled both on the field and in the classroom. The award is sponsored by the King Fisher Society.

Stan Cotton, the Voice of the Deacons, will interview the Student-Athlete of the Week, and that feature will be posted on WakeForestSports.com.

The inaugural King Fisher Society Student-Athlete of the Week is Demon Deacon senior quarterback Riley Skinner.
