With the loss
- Wake Forest falls to 2-4 overall (1-2 in the ACC)
- The Deacons are 2-2 at home
- Wake Forest has lost its last four games
- Jim Grobe's record stands at 61-55 at Wake Forest and 94-88-1 overall
- Grobe's record against the service academies stands at 4-4
- The Deacons are 35-41-2 all-time in Homecoming games are 5-5 under Grobe
- The Demon Deacons fall to 3-2 while wearing gold jerseys. Wake won its first three games in gold (against Virginia in 2008, against Navy in the 2008 EagleBank Bowl and against NC State in 2009) before losing to Florida State while wearing gold in the final home game of 2009.

Price Breaks Rookie Records
- Price made his first collegiate start at BB&T Field.
- Price's found Cameron Ford for a 19-yard completion with :24 seconds to play in the first half. That was his 19th completion of the game, which marked a school-record for pass completions by a true-freshman.
- Price's TD to Chris Givens with :12 second left in the second quarter was his fourth of the season. That is the most-ever by a true-freshman QB at Wake Forest.
- Price finished with 326 yards passing completing 37-of-53 attempts, breaking Webber's old true-freshman mark of 205 yards on 18-of-36 passing in 1978.
- Price was 9-of-9 for 79 yards on Wake's TD drive before the end of the first half. The drive culminated in an 11-yard TD pass to Chris Givens.
- Price's 37 completions was the sixth-most in a game for any Wake Forest quarterback. His 53 attempts were the eighth-most in a game.
- Price also had two carries for nine yards and scored his third rushing touchdown of the year.

Campanaro Has a Career Night
-Michael Campanaro opened the game with a 53-yard kickoff return, which was his longest of his career.
- Campanaro returned five kicks for 165 yards, both career highs.
- Campanaro finished with four catches for 44 yards, both career-high marks.

Strong Game for Deacon Receiving Corps
- Devon Brown caught a pass on Wake's fourth play of the game. That marked his 18th-straight game with at least one completion.
- Brown finished with 10 catches, a season high, for 59 yards. He now has 96 career catches and 987 career receiving yards.
- Chris Givens had a season-high seven catches, one shy of his career high, for a team-high 60 yards.
- Givens caught his second touchdown pass of the year with 12 seconds left in the first half to give the Deacons a 17-14 lead.
- Danny Dembry caught a career-high four passes for 51 yards, also a career high.
- Marshall Williams made a season-high three catches, totaling 12 yards. Williams is now three catches shy of the century mark for his career.
- Cameron Ford made a season-high two catches for 24 yards.
- Tommy Bohanan caught 3 passes tonight for 27 yards, marking his first multiple reception game.
- Bohanon has now caught a pass in 11 different games.

Newman is Spot On
- Jimmy Newman made a 45-yard field goal on the Deacons' third possession and 31-yard field on the tenth possession . He has now made six-straight field goals, which is a career-high.

Dobbs is Second to Hit Century Mark in Rushing
- Ricky Dobbs finished with 100 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries.
- Dobbs is the second 100-yard rusher that Wake has allowed this season. Desmond Scott of Duke had 122 yards on 11 carries.
- Navy took a 14-10 lead with a Dobbs TD run at the 10:12 mark of the second quarter. Navy has now led Wake Forest at some point in every game in the series.

Defensive Notes
- Cyhl Quarles intercepted Ricky Dobbs at the 4:45 mark of the third quarter. That was his second-career interception and his first this season.
- Gelo Orange finished with a career-high nine tackles, including three tackles for a loss, which was also a career high.
- Tristan Dorty made a season-high seven tackles .

Miscellaneous
- Navy won the toss and elected to defer.
- Wake Forest only gained 77 yards on the ground this year, the first time they didn't break the century mark since the 2009 game against Georgia Tech.
- Josh Harris had a career-high 14 rushing attempts for 46 yards.
- Harris also caught the first three passes of his career for 32 yards.
- Shane Popham had a career-long 63-yard punt in the third quarter.
- Popham finished the game with four punts for 183 yards, an average of 45.8 yards per punt.
