Team Records and Series Notes:
• Wake Forest improves to 5-3 on the season while Holy Cross falls to 0-6.
• The Demon Deacons lead the overall series with the Crusaders 3-1. Today's game was the first meeting between the two teams since 1959-60.
• Jeff Bzdelik's career head coaching record improves to 119-108.
• The Demon Deacons will break for exams before making the short trip to Greensboro Coliseum to take on UNC Wilmington on Dec. 12. The game will be televised by MASN and can also be heard on the Wake Forest Sports Network from IMG College.

Wake Forest Team Notes:
Key Run: After Holy Cross cut the Demon Deacon lead to one point at 34-33 with 18:31 remaining in the game, Wake Forest ripped off a 15-3 run over the next 5:12 to extend the lead to 49-36. The Crusaders would not get closer than six points the rest of the way.
Key Stat: Wake Forest shot 52.8 percent (28-of-53) from the field on the afternoon, the third time this season that the Deacs eclipsed the 50-percent shooting mark. Holy Cross made 44.3 percent of its field goals (27-of-61).
• The Demon Deacons shot 58.3 percent (14-of-24) in the first half, the second straight period that they topped the 50 percent shooting mark. Wake Forest made 70 percent of its field goals in the second half of its last game against Iowa in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Tuesday. The Deacs shot 48.3 percent in the second half against the Crusaders.
• Wake Forest again performed well at the charity stripe, going 14-of-20 (70 percent) on free throw attempts. The Demon Deacons entered the contest leading the ACC in free throw percentage.
• The Demon Deacons used their speed to their advantage, outscoring the Crusaders 23 to 10 on the fast break.
• Wake Forest won the rebounding battle for the third time this season, out-boarding the Crusaders 37-28. The Deacs are 3-0 this season when having more rebounds than their opponent.
• Wake Forest started Gary Clark, C.J. Harris, Ari Stewart, Travis McKie and Ty Walker, the Deacons' fourth unique starting lineup of the season.

Wake Forest Individual Notes:
• Freshman Travis McKie recorded his third-career double-double, finishing with a team-high 18 points and 11 rebounds. He has scored in double figures in all but one game this season.
Gary Clark earned the starting nod for the first time since the Nov. 15 game against Hampton and did not disappoint, notching 16 points. Clark also grabbed three rebounds and had two steals.
C.J. Harris put up a new a new season high with 16 points, coming on a perfect 6-of-6 shooting, including 2-of-2 from behind the arc. Over the last three games, Harris is a perfect 4-of-4 from the three-point line. Harris also handed out a team-high three assists, while bringing down four boards.
Ari Stewart also hit double digits, scoring 11 points for his seventh double-figure game of the season, including his sixth straight. Stewart also had seven rebounds and two assists.
