When did you graduate from Wake Forest?
I graduated from Wake Forest in 1976.

What was you major?
Communication

What does being a Demon Deacon mean to you?
I am very proud to be a Demon Deacon. I learned to excel in the classroom and on the football field at Wake Forest. I had to learn to prioritize, to use my time wisely. This is something that has helped me in my current career. Some of my best friends in the world are former Deacon football players. We've remained close over all these years. Once a Demon Deacon, always a Demon Deacon!

Why are you still involved in Wake Forest Athletics?
I am still involved with Wake Forest Athletics because of the great experience I had both as an athlete and a student. My experience at Wake Forest was life-changing. I am a better person today because of what I learned at Wake Forest.

Why do you feel it is important to give back to the University?
I want to "give back" to Wake Forest as a way of showing my appreciation and to help ensure, in some small way, that others may have a similar experience.

What is your current occupation?
I currently own a financial services company in Santa Barbara, "Tremblay Financial Services." I am a Registered Securities Principal, Financial Consultant and a Registered Investment Advisor. Tremblay Financial Services is a full-service investment firm with three offices and a total of 30 financial consultants and support staff. For the past seven years Tremblay Financial Services has been voted the No. 1 full-service investment firm in Santa Barbara by the Santa Barbara News-Press readers in the "Readers' Choice Awards." I've been in this business since 1983. My mom (Dorothy), my wife (Marcia), my son (Troy), my daughter (Vanessa), my niece (Brittany), my sister (Barb) and my godson (Caleb) all work at my office!

What is your favorite memory of your time at Wake Forest?
I have many fond memories at Wake Forest: my wife's birthday party in Wait Chapel with Harry Chapin, a last second victory over Florida State (9-7) as Chuck Ramsey kicked a field goal, I was named the "Offensive Player of the Week" vs. South Carolina, graduation with family and friends from California in attendance, football and basketball games... My favorite memory, though, was the birth of my son Troy! I was with my wife, Marcia, as Troy was born at Forsyth Hospital. What a joy that was for a 22-year-old father! Once mother and baby were secure, I made a bee line to the Wake Forest campus and proceeded to pass out (RJR) cigars to all takers!

What makes you most proud of Wake Forest?
I am always so proud of Wake Forest accomplishments, both academically and athletically, especially when I realize how small the university is. WFU is at the forefront in all areas!

When you come back to Wake Forest, you always...
When I come back to Wake Forest I always go to a football game and visit good friends. Over the past several years, visits to Wake Forest have included dinner at the Chop House the night before the game!

I was at Wake Forest when...
I was at Wake Forest when the Deacon golf team won two consecutive national championships! Deacon golfers Curtis Strange and Jay Haas were classmates of mine.

Who is your favorite coach at Wake Forest, current or past?
My favorite Wake Forest coach is Chuck Mills. I'm still in touch with him. He has arranged reunions with his Deacon football players over the years. I learned a lot from Coach Mills while I was at Wake Forest, and I'm still learning from him!
