Women's Basketball Hosts Maryland for Pink Zone Tonight

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Tonight the Wake Forest women's basketball team will host Maryland at 7 p.m. for the annual Pink Zone game.

Maryland is 16-8 and enters the contest with two recent losses in College Park to Georgia Tech and Virginia. Wake Forest is 14-9 coming off a loss at Florida State on Sunday and win at Virginia Tech on Friday, February 5.

The game will serve as the annual Pink Zone game, an event to raise awareness about breast cancer. All fans that wear pink to the game will receive free admission.

There will be a pre-game reception in the Windsor Area put on by Mary Kay Cosmetics starting at 5:30, with a minimum door donation of $1 for admission - all proceeds to go to Kay Yow foundation. Fans will receive a raffle ticket to win Mary Kay items as well as tickets for the men's game against Georgia Tech on Saturday night.
