Four Women's Basketball Players Earn Their Degrees

WINSTON-SALEM, NC - Four Wake Forest women's basketball players received their degrees on Monday in a commencement ceremony held at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
Seniors Jessica Bryant, Jessie Cain, Courteney Morris and Tiffany Roulhac were all part of helping the women's basketball team earn a score of 1,000 in the NCAA APR for the second-straight season.
Bryant was a four year letter winner for the Deacs from Supply, NC. She gave Wake versatility at the center position, playing in 29 games and this season, she set new career records in points, blocks and rebounds. Bryant graduated with a Communications degree and plans to work in public relations.
Roulhac helped lead the Demon Deacons at the point guard position for the last four years. In 2009, she was a conference leader in assist to turnover ratio and was among the team leaders this season in 3-point shooting percentage. For her career, the Fayetteville, NC, native played in a total of 91 games and dished out 272 assists. Roulhac is planning to head to graduate school next fall.
Cain was also a four year letter winner hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio. She played in 63 games in her career and was named to the ACC Honor Roll all four years and was recognized as the squad's top academic performer each year. Cain graduated with a degree in health and exercise science and plans to attend the Wake Forest physician assistant program next year.
Morris, who is from Riverdale, Md., earned her studio art degree on Monday. In addition to being a four-year letter winner, Morris was one of the top defensive players in the ACC. Her 234 career steals rank her third in school history and she recorded over 500 career rebounds. Morris is planning to pursue a career in digital art.
The class of 2010 was the winningest class in the last two decades of Wake Forest women's basketball, with 61 wins and back-to-back postseason appearances. In 2009 the class helped the team post the second best season in school history, finishing with 19 wins and an invitation to the 2009 Women's NIT. This year the squad recorded the most conference wins since 1986-87 and finished the year 18-14, earning a second-straight trip to the WNIT.
