WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - As the Wake Forest football team prepares for the upcoming season, Wake Forest Athletics introduces a two-week long series to get fans ready for the 2010 campaign. Each day, "Countdown to Kickoff" will preview a different aspect of the football gameday experience in preparation for the home opener on Thursday, September 2. Today, a closer look at the new BB&T Field re-entry policy.
For the convenience of all fans, re-entry will be permitted at BB&T Field throughout the 2010 season. Fans may exit BB&T Field beginning at the conclusion of the first quarter. Patrons must scan out (using a valid game ticket) at Gate 1, 4, or 5. Patrons may re-enter at any gate as long as they are still in possession of their game ticket.
Fans wishing to exit BB&T Field prior to the conclusion of the first quarter must visit a Guest Information Booth. Information booths are located outside of sections 7 and 15, and at the top of Deacon Hill.
Upon re-entry, fans will be subject to the same security measures and bag searches as during their initial entrance into BB&T Field. No bag may exceed one foot wide, by one foot tall, by one foot long. Also, for the safety of all fans, umbrellas, metal seat cushions, artificial noisemakers, balls, frisbees, video cameras, and strollers are not permitted inside the stadium.
