Shuttle Information for Saturday ![]()
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest Athletic Department would like to offer these travel tips to make your trip to and from BB&T Field safe and stress-free this weekend.
The Dixie Classic Fair will be taking place during the October 9 game vs. Navy. Please use Highway 52 and Akron Drive to avoid traffic delays in downtown. Please plan on coming early and staying late to avoid heavy traffic.
The Winston-Salem Entertainment-Sports Complex, along with the Dixie Classic Fair, has implemented extra measures to assist both fair and football attendees with extra staff and coordination with the Department of Transportation.
The complex will be providing remote parking shuttle service that will operate from First Assembly on University Parkway to the drop-off point located in front of the Joel Coliseum. To get to the shuttle lots follow the directions below.
Parking will be $8, which is the same as in the complex parking areas on those two days. There is NO additional charge to use the shuttle. The first shuttle will start running at 12:30 p.m. and run on a constant basis until 12:30 a.m. The last shuttle will run at 12:30 a.m. There will be a total of seven shuttles during the peak time of the day.

***Church Day Parking Updates***
Church day buses and vans should enter the LJVM parking lots through the main entrance on University Parkway. If the LJVM has spaces, the buses will be charged $16 and the vans will be charged $8.
If the LJVM is out of spaces, the vans/buses will be able to drop off by entering off University Pkwy and then go park off-sight. Buses/vans will head out the Annex; turn right on Deacon Blvd, left on Shorefair, right on 32nd Street and park on the left in the 32nd Street parking lot. The normal rate of $8 per van and $25 per bus will be charged in that lot.
The buses and vans are welcome to go straight to the 32nd Street parking lot, park and walk to the LJVM.
Church day participants coming in a van are also welcome to go straight to the shuttle parking at the First Assembly of God. This would make it easy for those with only one adult to keep track of the group and not have to walk on the street or be separated.
