Demon Deacon Men's Soccer To Be Nationally Televised

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's soccer team will take a break from conference play on Tuesday, October 11 when it faces the College of Charleston in Charleston, S.C. It was also recently announced that the match will be nationally televised on Fox Soccer Channel.
Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. at Patriots Point.
The game is presented in collaboration with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America as the College Game of the Week and will be shown live. It will be the Deacs' first appearance on national television since December 11, 2009 when Wake Forest played Virginia in the NCAA Tournament's College Cup.
College of Charleston will enter the match at 5-4-2 overall and 1-1-1 in the Southern Conference, while Wake Forest sports a 5-5-1 record and a 2-3 mark in ACC play.
