Michael Hoag Named to Academic All-District Team

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest offensive guard Mike Hoag has been named to the Capital One Academic All-District III football team. Hoag, a 6-6, 305-pound senior from Knoxville, Tenn. (Farragut) carries a 3.53 grade point average in communications.

By being named to the All-District team, Hoag's name will appear on the Academic All-America ballot.

A starter in all nine games, Hoag has graded out at 81 percent this season. He is second on the team with 48 knockdown blocks.

Mikel Overgaard of NC State was the only other ACC offensive lineman to make the Academic All-District team.
