• With the win over Maryland, Jim Grobe's record at Wake Forest stands at 68-65 in his 11th year.

Wake Forest Finishes 5-3 In The ACC
• The Deacons have finished 5-3 in the ACC, marking just the fourth time in school history that Wake Forest has won five or more conference games in a season.

Givens Breaks Single-Season Receiving Record
• Junior wide receiver Chris Givens broke the Wake Forest single-season record for most receiving yards with a career-high 191 yards against Maryland. His previous career-high was 170 yards in the season-opener against Syracuse.
• Givens now has 1,207 receiving yards this season, which broke Ricky Proehl's previous record of 1,053 yards which he set during the 1989 season.
• Givens recorded his seventh 100-yard receiving game of the season. The school-record is eight held by Wayne Baumgardner in 1979.
• Givens now has a total of 10 100-yard receiving games in his career. Ricky Proehl holds the career record with 12.
• For his career, Givens has recorded 2,350 receiving yards which moves him into fourth in school-history.
• Givens also caught his 21st career touchdown in the fourth quarter. That ties him for the third-most career touchdown receptions in school-history.
• With his catch in the first quarter, Givens has now caught at least one pass in each of the last 26 games he has played in.

Ford Does It Again
• Senior tight end Cameron Ford caught a two-yard touchdown pass from Tanner Price in the first quarter.
• That was Ford's third reception of the season and the third of his career.
• Ford also hauled in a three-yard touchdown pass from Price in the first quarter of last week's game at Clemson.
• Ford finished the day with two catches for 23 yards.
• He has now caught at least one pass in the last six games.

Price With Another Solid Performance
• Sophomore Tanner Price completed 20 of 32 passes on the day for a season-high 320 yards and two touchdowns.
• That's Price's second-most passing yards in a single game in his career. He had 326 against Navy on Oct. 9, 2010.
• This was the first time in the last four games that he has thrown for more than 200 yards. Price had started the year with seven-straight games of 200 or more passing yards.
• He now has 19 TD passes on the year, which is third-best for a single-season in school-history.
• His 26 career TD passes are now tied for eighth-best in a career in school history.
• Price also finished the game with 22 yards rushing, his second-best performance of the year.

Pendergrass Keeps Running Down Hill
• After gaining a career-best 134 yards last week at Clemson, senior running back Brandon Pendergrass kept the momentum rolling with 125 yards on 25 carries against Maryland.
• That is his second-straight 100-yard game and just the third of his career.
• The 125 yards marks the second-best rushing performance of his career.
• He also recorded the 16th rushing touchdown of his career.
• The Deacons are now 10-5 in the games in which Pendergrass scores a touchdown.

Don't Throw It On Noel
• Redshirt-freshman Merrill Noel recorded two pass breakups in the game, giving him 18.
• That ties him with A.J. Greene for the most pass breakups in a single-season in school-history.
• Greene had 18 pass breakups in 1987.
• Noel came into the game as the nation's leader with 16 PBUs.

Best Day For "The Big O"
• True-freshman running back Orville Reynolds had his best day as a Demon Deacon, gaining 63 yards on 11 carries.
• Both of those totals are season-highs.

What A Combo
• Receivers Chris Givens and Michael Campanaro have caught a total of 127 passes this season between the two of them.
• That is tied for the second-most catches in a season by a receiving duo in school-history.
• The record is 132 by Kenny Moore (98) and Josh Adams (34) in 2007.

Why Do Anything Different
• Wake Forest won the toss and elected to receive.
• The Demon Deacons have now received the ball first in all 11 games this season.
• Wake also scored first in the contest, which is the ninth time in 11 games that the Deacs have dented the scoreboard first.

Newman Stops His Streak
• Place kicker Jimmy Newman had missed his last three field goal attempts coming into the game.
• He snapped that streak with a 25-yard field goal in the third quarter.
• Newman is now 16-of-20 on the year.

• Wake Forest captains are Kyle Wilber, Josh Bush, Joe Looney and Brandon Pendergrass.
• Wake Forest won the toss and elected to receive.
