The Price is Going Up
- Tanner Price finished with 157 yards passing on 16 of 34 attempts - his first time under 50 percent passing this season.
- He pushed his career total to 4,152 passing yards, becoming only the 10th Wake Forest player to throw for more than 4,000 yards in his career. Price currently ranks ninth on the school career passing charts.
- Price hooked up with Terence Davis for a 10-yard touchdown in the second quarter to give him 20 passing touchdowns this season - the third-most in a season in school history.
- Price's 2,803 passing yards this season are the second-most in Wake Forest history, putting him 357 yards short of Riley Skinner's record of 3,160 yards that was set in 2009.

Givens Moves Up ACC Charts
- Chris Givens finished with four catches for 69 yards and has now caught a pass in 27 straight games.
- He has racked up 1,276 receiving yards this season, passing Florida State's Peter Warrick and Maryland Marcus Badgett to move into fourth place on the ACC single-season receiving charts.
- His 1,276 yards are already a Wake Forest single-season record.

New BB&T Field Attendance Record
- Tonight's attendance of 28,020 pushed Wake Forest's total season attendance at BB&T Field to 223,769 - a new school record.
- This year's average attendance of 31,967 over seven home games is the third-highest mark in school history.

Sunk by the Commodores
- Wake Forest's 41-7 loss to Vanderbilt was tied with a 51-17 setback against Connecticut in 2003 as the Deacons' worst home loss in the Jim Grobe era.
- The Deacons' 41 points allowed were tied for the fourth-most given up at home under Jim Grobe.
- Jordan Rogers' 73-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Barden with 5:05 remaining in the first half was the longest play for a Wake Forest opponent this season.
- After Wake Forest had taken a 7-6 lead in the second quarter, Vanderbilt scored five unanswered touchdowns.

Defensive Notables
- Merrill Noel had one pass breakup to give him 19 for the season - a new Wake Forest single-season record, topping A.J. Greene's previous mark of 18 from the 1987 season.
- Kyle Wilber had two tackles for loss today giving him 36 in his career, which is the eighth-most in school history. Wilber also led the Demon Deacons with 10 tackles in today's game, including nine solo stops.

Miscellaneous
- Wake Forest captains were outside linebacker Kyle Wilber, offensive guard Joe Looney, tight end Cameron Ford and defensive end Gelo Orange.
- Wake Forest won the toss and elected to receive. The Demon Deacons have had the ball first in all 12 games this season.
- Alex Wulfeck punted seven times for 303 yards - a career-high yardage mark. He averaged 43.3 yards on his seven kicks.
- Vanderbilt scored first on a 33-yard field goal by Ryan Fowler with 8:40 left in the first half. It was only the third time all season that Wake Forest did not score the first points of the game.
