Wake Forest to Host Friday Pep Rally

Wake Forest University will hold a pep rally on Friday, Nov. 4 as the Demon Deacons prepare to face the University of Notre Dame.
The pep rally will begin at 5 p.m. on Hearn Plaza on the Quad.
The pep rally will include the Spirit of the Old Gold and Black marching band, the cheerleaders, dance team and the Demon Deacon mascot.
The Wake Forest football team will also be on hand. Among the speakers at the pep rally will be Athletics Director Ron Wellman, head coach Jim Grobe, offensive guard Joe Looney and former Deacon All-America cornerback Alphonso Smith.
The pep rally is open to all students, faculty/staff, alumni and the general public and is free of charge.
In case of rain, the event will be moved inside to the Benson Student Center.
