Wake Forest will host Minnesota on Thursday, Dec. 1 as part of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. Tip off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
Wake Forest head coach Mike Petersen is looking to become the all-time winningest women's basketball coach in school-history. Petersen is currently tied with Joe Sanchez with 109 career victories at Wake Forest.

The game will be streamed live online on WakeForestSports.com. Alex Vispoli will call the action while Roper Halverson will be the analyst for the broadcast.
Last Time Out
The Demon Deacons capped their Thanksgiving with an 83-54 victory over visiting Jacksonville.
Wake got off to a bit of a sluggish start but a 15-0 run midway through the opening half set the tone for the rest of the game.
Sandra Garcia enjoyed her best game of the young season, finishing with a game-high 20 on 10-of-12 from the floor.
Junior forward Asia Williams provided a spark off the bench, scoring 15 points and dishing out four assists.
Point guard Chelsea Douglas dished-out a career-high seven assists to go along with her three steals and four rebounds.
Meet the Golden Gophers
Minnesota comes into the game with a record of 4-3 overall.
The Golden Gophers went 1-1 at the St. Mary's Hilton Tournament in Moraga, Calif., last weekend.
Kiara Buford is leading the Gophers offensively, averaging 12.9 points per game. She has made as many field goals (29) as she has free throws (29) so far this season. Rachel Banham is also averaging in double-figures with 11.6 points per game to go along with a team-high 24 assists.
Head coach Pam Borton is in her 10th season with the Golden Gophers. She has a career-record of 181-111 at Minnesota.
Series History
This will be the first-ever meeting between Wake Forest and Minnesota on the hardwood and it will also be the first meeting for the Demon Deacons against a team from the state of Minnesota.
Wake Forest holds a 4-8 record all-time against teams from the Big Ten.
Next Up...
Wake Forest will head out on the road for the first time this season when it travels to Seton Hall on Sunday, Dec. 4. The game is set to tip-off at 1:00 p.m.
Wake Forest lost it's only previous meeting with Seton Hall back in 1990.
