Women's Soccer Announces Spring Schedule

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest women's soccer team will play three home matches as part of its spring schedule, which was announced Monday by head coach Tony da Luz.
The 2010 ACC Champion Demon Deacons will open their spring on Wednesday, April 6, with a home match against High Point at Spry Stadium at 7 p.m.
In the fall, the Deacs earned a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over the Panthers, who went on to win their second consecutive Big South championship.
The following Saturday, April 9, Wake Forest will participate in the ACC Spring Tournament, which will be held at the BB&T Soccer Complex in Winston-Salem.
The Deacons' final spring contests will come in a pair of matches at Spry Stadium on Saturday, April 16. Wake will take on UNC Greensboro at 10 p.m. and Georgia at 1 p.m.
The Demon Deacons return eight starters from the team that won the program's first ACC Championship last November.
