Deacons to Hold Pro Day, Start Spring Football Practice

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest football team will hold its annual Pro Timing Day on Monday, March 14 and then begin spring football practice on Thursday, March 17.
The Pro Day events begin at 9 a.m. in the Bob McCreary Strength Complex inside Manchester Center. Professional football scouts will test players in the broad jump, vertical jump and bench press as well as measuring each player. The events inside the weight room are not open to the public.
At 10 a.m., the players will move outside to the Doc Martin Football Practice Complex and will participate in the 40-yard dash as well as shuttle and cone drills.
Wake Forest will hold its first spring practice session on Thursday, March 17. The Demon Deacons are permitted 15 practice opportunities during the spring. Wake Forest will practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Doc Martin complex and on Saturday mornings at BB&T Field. Spring practice will conclude with the annual Spring Game on Saturday, April 16, at BB&T Field.
The weekday practices generally start at 4 p.m. with the Saturday sessions beginning at 10 a.m. Check WakeForestSports.com for more exact starting times.
