Deacs Close Out Spring Season With Spry Doubleheader

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's soccer team will take the field for the final time this spring on Saturday when it faces Mars Hill and North Carolina in a doubleheader at Spry Stadium. The Demon Deacons will take on the Mountain Lions at 4 p.m. and the Tar Heels at 7 p.m.
The Deacs have posted a 3-1-1 record this spring with victories over Duke, High Point and the University of Windsor (Canada). Last weekend, Wake Forest played its only road match of the spring, drawing 0-0 with West Virginia.
The Deacons have posted two consecutive shutouts after holding Duke scoreless in a 2-0 victory.
Wake Forest was edged 1-0 by North Carolina in Chapel Hill last fall. The Tar Heels went on to reach the College Cup.
