WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Defender C.J. Williams has been added to the Wake Forest men's soccer team's 2011 incoming class, head coach Jay Vidovich announced today.
Williams, a defender from Orlando, Fla., will join eight other players as new faces on the Demon Deacons in the fall.
"C.J. is an athletic guy who likes to get up and down the field from the right back position," said Vidovich. "He'll have to refine his defensive abilities to adjust to the next level, but we are very excited about his ability to learn and develop as a player."
Williams was a four-year starter at Olympia High School and was named to the All-State first team in 2011. He was selected to the 2010 Disney Showcase All-Star team and traveled with the team to London, England to train at the Chelsea FC Football Academy.
Williams and the rest of the Demon Deacons will open the 2011 season at home against South Florida on August 27.
