Maryland (10-4, 0-1 ACC) is coming off a 79-74 loss at NC State in its ACC opener on Sunday in Raleigh. Terrell Stoglin's 25 points were not enough, as the Wolfpack led for the entire second half.
Stoglin is the ACC's leading scorer with 21.4 points per game. He has 10 20-point games to his credit this season to lead the league.
Freshman center Alex Len, the reigning ACC Rookie of the Week, has averaged 13.5 points and 8.8 rebounds in four games this season.
Series History
Maryland leads the all-time series with Wake Forest, 64-56. The Terrapins have won two straight after sweeping the season series with the Deacons in 2010-11.
Wake is 2-4 in the Comcast Center since the venue's opening in 2002-03. The Deacons last won there with a 65-63 victory late in the 2008-09 season.

Wake Forest will return home to host rival NC State on Saturday afternoon. The Wolfpack, who have won three straight over the Deacons, are 12-4 (1-0 ACC) entering Wednesday's game against Georgia Tech.
The Deacons will then play back-to-back road games at Duke (Jan. 19) and at Boston College (Jan. 21) in what will be Wake's toughest two-game turnaround of the conference season.
