WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest Athletics is proud to present the Deacon Coach's Luncheon Series this year. The next two luncheons are scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 1, and Thursday, Jan. 17.
Join head men's basketball coach Jeff Bzdelik and head football coach Jim Grobe to get inside perspectives on the Demon Deacons.
The men's basketball squad will be primed for their exhibition game against Rollins on Nov. 2 and their season opener with Radford a week later. Coach Grobe will be preparing the football team for its home game against Atlantic Division rival Boston College on Saturday, Nov. 3.
Men's and women's basketball will come together on Jan. 17, 2013 to host a combined basketball luncheon. Both teams will have just started ACC play and will give a midseason report as well as the outlook of Wake Forest in the upcoming ACC matchups. Coach Jen Hoover and the women's basketball team will host the Miami Hurricanes that night at the Joel Coliseum at 6:30 p.m. while the men's team will head out on the road to Virginia Tech that Saturday.
All the luncheons will begin promptly at noon, and they are open to the public at a cost of $12 per person. The exact location is the Snead Room on the second floor of Bridger Field House.
