Head Coach Jim Grobe
On the confidence level of the team heading into the game with Virginia...
"We'll probably find out in Charlottesville. All I can tell is how well we practiced. Last night we had a great practice; guys bouncing around and energetic. They looked like they were happy to get back together and get started again."
On the bye week...
"We were pretty banged up. If we had played Saturday we wouldn't of had Colin Summers, Whit Barnes or Scott Betros; maybe a couple others. Hopefully we'll have those guys on Saturday."
On wide receiver Terence Davis filling in for Michael Campanaro...
"He's settled in a little bit. Terence's problem was he missed too much practice. He separated his shoulders and just missed so much practice. He didn't play very well against Duke and showed flashes against Maryland of what we wanted to get all year from him. Hopefully from what he did against Maryland, we'll see that improve."
On whether or not every game is a must-win...
"We've got six games left, all of them are going to be hard to win. There's not a game on our schedule that you look at right now (where we can) not play our best and get a win. We've got to play our best football in all six to have a chance. I told the kids that a lot of teams would like to be 3-3. We're not happy to be 3-3. We feel like the last couple of games, for a lot of different reasons we had better chances to win and didn't get it done. We're disappointed that we haven't won the last couple of games. (Being) 3-3 is not the best, but it's better than a lot and a lot of people would like to be sitting 3-3 right now."
On Virginia's quarterback situation...
"What we've seen really is both quarterbacks are very talented. They both have different strengths and weaknesses, but it's hard to tell what the coaches see those as being. I think (Michael) Rocco has more experience; (Philip) Sims has a rocket for an arm with great arm strength and ability. Sometimes you're changing quarterbacks because you don't think you have a good one but in this case, I think Virginia's got two really good quarterbacks and they're trying to decide which one is the best."

Freshman Linebacker Brandon Chubb
On getting back on the field this week...
"It's very exciting. Playing against Virginia should be a very exciting game. Being on the field again for an away game should be fun for everybody."
On Virginia's offense...
"They have great running backs and great receivers. I think they're sound and they're strong, so as defenders we're going to have to stay on our toes the entire game and play every snap. Just because they have five losses doesn't mean that they can't win a game against us."
On the best part of playing a road game...
"Just traveling and going to that stadium. Seeing that opposite team's colors in the stands while we're warming up and knowing that everybody in that stadium is rooting against you, and having the ability to ruin their day as much as they want to ruin yours is always exciting."

Senior Wide Receiver Terence Davis
On the confidence level of the team heading into the Virginia game...
"I honestly think that our confidence level is pretty good. We had a couple of tough games in the last couple of weeks, but we had a good week of practice last week and yesterday was definitely a great practice. The guys are excited and ready to get back on the road. This bye week seemed like too long of a bye week, and everybody is ready to get back out there."
On his elevated play over the last two games...
"I got into the film room and watched a lot of Camp's film to see how he played the game. I've been trying to incorporate his game into mine, and I've been trying to follow in his footsteps in a sense."
On whether every game is now a must-win situation...
"Definitely. We have to win out. These last six games are going to give us fights every week, but we need to be tough and try to win out."

Junior Free Safety A.J. Marshall
On preparing for both of Virginia's quarterbacks...
"It's difficult, but we know that both of those guys are capable. I know Phillip Sims personally, and Michael Rocco is capable of making the throws and the reads. They also have a great running attack. They're all downhill runners, which will do well for their passing game too."
On whether the bye week came at a good time...
"It came at a very good time. We fell short in our past two games against Duke and Maryland, but the bye week gave us a chance to regroup and get healthy. We're coming back stronger and plan to come back with a full force."
On playing ACC road games...
"I love knowing that the crowd is going against you. It's a lot of pressure, and knowing that our fans are back home watching adds even more pressure on us. I always like coming out on top on the road. It's a great feeling."
