Head Coach Jim Grobe
On having only four games left in the season...
"(Being) 4-4 puts a little pressure on us. We've got four (games) left and our guys know what we have to do to get back to a bowl game. We've got some really good teams left so it's going to be tough."
On getting prepared for Boston College...
"We lost to Maryland and Boston College beat Maryland so that should tell our players something. Boston College did a nice job on the last drive and had a great drive to win the game against a great Maryland defense. Our guys understand that there are a couple marquee teams in our conference with Florida State and Clemson and you can maybe throw a couple of other teams in there, but this is a league where every time out you have to play to win."
On looking at Boston College's defense...
"They are physical as usual and they are sound and don't beat themselves. If you look at what they did last week, they've shown a lot of improvement and are getting better. I think they had a great game against Maryland last week and we know this Boston College defense is talented and well coached."
On the Boston College offense...
"They've got a quarterback (Chase Rettig) that's got as strong of arm as anybody we've played against. They've got a couple of receivers that are really, really special. The (Alex) Amidon kid reminds you a little bit of (Michael Campanaro). I think he is averaging about 120 yards per game receiving. I think a couple other receivers are dangerous guys. So they've got a big, strong-armed quarterback that's got a good group of guys to throw to."
On having flanker Michael Campanaro back in the lineup...
"If we can get him enough practice time it will be good. Last week coming back against Clemson was good but he didn't play his best football. He needs his practice time so that's going to be the key. It's great to have 'Camp' back; I don't think we're worried so much about his hand right now as his conditioning and his ability to get enough practice time in that he runs the right routes, blocks the right guys, those kinds of things."
On having a couple extra practice days after playing Clemson last Thursday...
"It's not as big advantage as an open date would be to have more time off. I think for us, it helps as a coaching staff to put a game plan together, I think it helps our players a little bit. We had a good break and didn't do anything Friday and had a good practice Saturday morning. We gave the kids off a couple days and had a pretty good practice last night and hopefully we'll be a little bit more prepared as coaches and have our kids a little fresher."

Bill Faircloth, Assistant Athletic Director, Football Operations
*Faircloth is set to attend his 400th straight Wake Forest football game on Saturday.
On returning in 1978 to coach at his Alma mater...
"This is where I went to school and where I always wanted to come back to. I got the opportunity in '78 to come back. When I was here (playing), we did not have a very good team. We lost 19 in a row and I was a captain my senior year. We won our last home game against South Carolina to break a 19-game losing streak but of course (Brian) Piccolo scored all the points. I always wanted to come back and see the program advance and I've seen that now. I've had the opportunity to be a part of 8 of the 10 bowl games and one of the championships. The two years I really enjoyed the most: in 1979 when I was a coach we won eight games and went to a bowl game for the first time in 30 years and 2006 was a great year."
On being at his 400th straight Wake Forest football game...
"I've been very fortunate. I've had very good help. I almost missed the Florida State game this year but I made it. I hope I make some more after this year. I look forward to this one and I hope we get after BC."
On how special Wake Forest is to him...
"Well it's very special. It gave me the chance to get my education. Believe it or not, I was an NC State fan growing up in Clinton, N.C. I was set to go to North carolina as a walk on. I had the chance to play in a East vs. West all-star game and my high school basketball coach Jackie Murdock was a former basketball player here and he told the coaches about me. Dr. Kitchin, who's dad was the president of the school, was the family doctor and flew us up here, (and I) got a scholarship for one year. Me and my twin brother had to show ourselves what we had to do to become a good player. I ended up having a four-year scholarship and I loved the place. My three sons graduated here and my three daughter-in-laws graduated from here, so I'm black and gold through and through."
On his top games at Wake Forest...
"I remember a couple but there's one that I remember the most. There's one in 1979 - the win over Auburn. It was here. Auburn was like seventh in the nation. We were No. 15, both teams were undefeated. We were losing at halftime 38-24, and (Coach John) Mackovic told our teams, "Never give up." So we came back and won the game 42-38, and I'll never forget that one. The game at Maryland when we beat Maryland to go to the (ACC) Championship in 2006 was very special, and of course winning the Championship was special. But all the games are special to tell you the truth."

Senior Fullback Tommy Bohanon
On lessons learned from the Clemson game...
"Really I think we need to just start faster on offense. Our defense started pretty fast. I thought that they played well and got us the ball a couple times to start the game. Offensively (we need) to start faster so that we don't have to be playing from behind so much."
On his offensive output this season...
"I think it's just the position that the coaches put me in. Instead of playing fullback, now that I'm an H-back, on the line, playing tight end, in the slot and everything, I think that's helped me out the most with me having the opportunity to get open and catch the ball a little bit more."
On playing Boston College...
"BC is always a great defensive team. No matter what, they're going to come out and have a great defense. We've seen that on film already where they're a physical defense. They're going to come on Saturday at be ready to play.

Junior Linebacker Justin Jackson
On the team heading into the final third of the season...
"We're not completely satisfied with what we have been doing. We're at 4-4 right now and we'd like to win out through the rest of our games so that we can finish up with a good season and possibly make it to a bowl game. We're going to work hard over these last four games so that we can accomplish everything that we want to accomplish."
On the recently dominant run defense...
"Our defense has been playing soundly when it comes to gap control. When everybody is in their gaps it's really hard for the other team to run the ball."
On Boston College's offense...
"They have a really strong running back, so he's going to be pretty tough to bring down. Also, they like to pass the ball around to all of their receivers. They have a good quarterback. He can sit in the pocket and pass pretty well."
