Q: What is your earliest memory of playing football?
A: Back when I was six on my first hit, when I got up off the field, my mom was already down there helping me get off the field.
Q: When did you first realize you could play at the major college level?
A: It had to be when I got here (Wake Forest). Learning the speed of the game and just figuring out the ins and outs and how much the offense has advanced since high school.
Q: Describe the recruiting process and how you ended up at Wake Forest.
A: The recruiting process wasn't too stressful, it was pretty laid back. I had a couple of visits here and there and had a couple of offers here and there and Wake really committed to me so it wasn't too bad.
Q: Were you always one of the better players on the field growing up?
A: I always knew what was going on. I had a pretty good awareness. I wasn't the fastest but I was one of the fastest kids so that always helped me.
Q: What area of your game have you had to work the hardest to improve upon?
A: Speed; you always want to be faster, stronger, catch better. You always want to get better in every aspect, so just being well-rounded.
Q: Is there an area of your game that just comes natural to you?
A: Recognizing defenses while the play is going on and realizing what I need to do on the run.
Q: Has there been a coach or mentor who has had a great impact on your career?
A: Honestly every coach that I have come in contact with has given me some type of tool that I can carry along with me throughout life on and off the field.
Q: What do you plan to do after your football career is over?
A: I see myself working with kids and helping out with their futures. Helping us, as a whole, have a brighter future and always shaping young minds to help them become better than where we are right now.
