Wake Forest is looking to get back on track this week as it travels to Champaign, Ill., to take on Illinois in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.- Tip-off is set for 8:00 p.m. ET from Assembly Hall.

Last Time Out
- The Demon Deacons had a rough week in paradise, finishing 0-3 at the 2012 Paradise Jam in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
- Wake Forest dropped games to No. 2 Connecticut, No. 14/12 Purdue and Marist.
- Senior center Sandra Garcia led the team in scoring with an average of 10 points per game. She also grabbed over five rebounds per contest and was named to the All-Tournament team.
- Junior point guard Chelsea Douglas made a total of six three-pointers and averaged 9.7 points over the three games.
- Senior Asia Williams dished-out a team-high 14 assists and averaged 7.7 points per game.
Today's Opponent
- Illinois is 3-2 over all on the year and is coming off the Junkanoo Jam where it topped Tulsa on day one and fell to Iowa State on day two.
- The Illini are led by a trio of players who are each averaging better than 14 points per game.
- Karisma Penn is averaging a double-double with 18.4 points and 10.6 rebounds over the first five games. She has also swatted 16 shots on the year.
- Ivory Crawford is right behind Penn at 15.6 points per game while Amber Moore has made a team-high 18 three-pointers and is averaging right at 14.0 points per contest.
- Illinois is guided by first-year coach Matt Bollant. Bollant came to Illinois after a successful five-year stint at Green Bay, where he guided the Phoenix to five straight Horizon League titles and four straight trips to the NCAA Tournament.<>Series History
- This will be just the second meeting all-time between the two teams.
- Illinois won the first matchup, 65-50, which was also part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge in 2009. Wake Forest raced-out to a 33-17 halftime lead and led by as many as 17 points early in the second half. But Illinois shot nearly 70 percent in the second half to pullout the comeback victory.

- Wake Forest will return home for three games in an eight-day span.
- The Deacons will take on Charleston Southern on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. and then will host Florida A&M on Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 6:30 p.m.
- Wake will cap the homestand by hosting Seton Hall on Saturday, Dec. 8. at 2 p.m.
